I have many other Trout / Bird / Fish knife designs. These are but a few that I make. They are unique in that no other maker has yet copied these designs. You will be very surprised at the gripability of any of these, and impressed at the ease of use. Generally, knives of this type are used as a two finger or three finger knife, with the thumb and forefinger used for control. I attempt to design a knife that anyone can use for the purpose it was designed for.
Just because you do not see a knife on this website does not mean I do not make it.

A trout and bird knife needs a fingergrip as well as a honed edge on the blade. I mak many varieties of fish knives, and several are large enough to be used as a lightweight hunting knife, or as a small defensive weapon in emergencies. I am a member of the Professional Knifemakers Association ( PKA ) , and have noticed a very noticible increase in bladesmithing in that organization over the past ten years. All of the members take a lot of pride in the promotion of the handmade knife. There's almost always a history behind every handmade custom.
