I have been a multimedia artist all my life. Kilroy and Murfy were born as a cartoon in the 1990's, and a program was written to allow full manipulation of features. Murfy was based on Sgt Murphy of Murphy's laws fame, and of course Kilroy of history has been everywhere in the World since World War 2. Murfy's personality is reversed from a pessimist to an optimist often in depiction. Kilroy, having been everywhere, has a bit of knowledge about everything, or at least he offers a retort to everything brought to his attention. Many of the cartoons are political, some are simply controversial subject matter. I hope to popularize them to offer a bit of Mid-American concerns as humor. My subject matter generally comes from current events of the past year or so. I watch news, comedians, and now search the Internet for new ideas. I also get suggestions from friends. I utilize photographs I have taken over the last 40 years in my backgrounds, and change their graphics to work with the subject matter. I was a professional photographer for 30 years, so I will never run out of backgrounds. Hopefully these two characters will offer some humor to your day. I am working on a Book that stars these two characters, The name is "FICTIONAL FACTS" ...you , the reader gets to pick which category an antic belongs in.
